IMPORTANT NOTICE: Upgrading to Windows 10

When Windows 10 was first released, we had asked our clients to refrain from upgrading to this new Windows Operating System as most EMR vendors were not compatible with the new Windows OS release.  
 
Now, a year later, most EMR software are compatible with Windows 10 as they have made the necessary adjustments adjustments for their software to operate in the new WIndows OS environment.

If you wish to upgrade to Windows 10, please do so before July 29th, 2016.

Please note that after that date, you will be charged for the upgrade.  
 
IMPORTANT ITEMS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU START THE UPGRADE TO WINDOWS 10: 
 
1 – IF YOU ARE USING DRAGON DICTATION SOFTWARE, DO NOT UPGRADE TO WINDOWS 10 

 

Dragon dictation software may not yet be fully compatible with Windows 10 and your EMR solution. If you are currently using this software, please DO NOT upgrade to Windows 10. Please contact your Dragon Software vendor for further assistance and make sure you let them know which EMR software you are using. 
 

 


2 - DO NOT INTERRUPT THE UPGRADE PROCESS TO WINDOWS 10 ONCE IT HAS BEGUN 
 
The upgrade process to Windows 10 can take up to 3 hours or more, depending on the processing power of your computer and internet speed. 

 

Under NO circumstances should you interrupt the upgrade as this may cause irreversible damage to your computer.
