As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve day by day, our commitment is to protect the health of our employees, partners, clients and community. Most important of all however, we will remain fully dedicated to supporting our medical practitioners enabling them to continue supporting our communities during this crisis by making sure the technology needed to deliver healthcare to all of us is running trouble free. In order to limit the potential spread of the virus, to support our employees and to ensure we maintain our ability to serve the medical community, we are taking the following proactive & precautionary measures:
Our staff has been given the option to work from home as we can access and use our support tools remotely. This will allow us to support your medical practices without any disruption.
Our NOC Team (Network Operations Centre) will continue to operate 24/7 and at full capacity. We continue to ensure security, health, monitoring, maintenance & proactive resolutions remain strongly in place.
We are limiting onsite visits for emergency situations only in order to slow the spread of the COVID-19 and decrease the potential of our team’s exposure. We consider as an emergency any issue that limits a medical practices ability to provide healthcare services to its patients. We understand that many physicians will be working from home.
As such, effective immediately, and until April 3rd we will be waiving VPN setup fees for our support clients.
Our BlueBird management team is constantly monitoring the situation and will keep responding rapidly as conditions change. Our hearts go out to all impacted by the Coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak. BlueBird will continue to actively support our EMR partners and front-line Healthcare providers.
