Which geographical areas do you support?
We are currently able to support clients across the province of Ontario as well as Alberta and British Columbia through our local field services teams. Our help desk can support clients Canada wide via phone or email.

How experienced are your technicians?
Our technicians are the backbone of our company, each carrying many years of experience in the field of IT support, numerous certifications, and relevant educational experience. Some of our technicians have worked for Ontario MD while others have joined us from top EMR providers bringing with them invaluable experience in the area of health care technology.

How long has BlueBird been in business?
BlueBird was established in 2005 as a general IT services support company. In 2010 the company sold off its other interests and started to focus exclusively in supporting health care organizations. As such it is now one of the few companies in Ontario specializing in this sector.

Which is the best EMR out there?
We cannot say that one EMR is better than the other. Choosing an EMR is a very personal decision and there are many factors to consider such as your own workflow needs, ease of use, cost, familiarity with the software etc. Talk to our team and we can help you through this decision process.

Do you offer support plans?
We offer two types of support plans: our most popular option, the monthly support plan and a pay-as-you go plan. For more information please visit the Tech Support Plans page or contact us at 888.930.9933
How much does a monthly support plan cost?
Monthly support plan costs depend on the number of equipment and users supported, whether the network and equipment were purchased and installed by BlueBird, and the duration of the support contract. Overall, the cost is significantly less than hiring a full time IT person to support you. Call us today at 888.930.9933 to get a quote for your practice.

What is your support response time?
Critical issues are dealt with immediately and we will respond within a few hours at most while less critical issues are will respond within the same business day. Many issues we can resolve remotely and/or if needed we will dispatch a technician to come to your location.

I want to hire BlueBird to help me set up our new computer network.
How do we start?
We start by setting up a complimentary site assessment to evaluate your clinic's needs and requirements. A BlueBird associate will visit your clinic, discuss with you how you run your day to day business, examine your work space and existing equipment, and design a solution around the way you work and your assessed needs.
